This position will support operations by monitoring and analyze master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. The Supply Planning Analyst ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.  The incumbent will also be involved in the validation of the demand signal (forecast accuracy) from several major retailers.  The primary focus will be to ensure data accuracy feeding into the production planning system (SAP) whether it be from internal or external sources. The Supply Planning Analyst reports directly to the Supply Network Planning Manager. 

  • Participate in the creation of data standards, drafting of data and governance policies and management of related documentation
  • Support & enforce established data standards and guidelines
  • Proactively monitor data accuracy and facilitate required data corrective actions with business owners
  • Provide support to data owners/ data stewards in performing data validation & accuracy management
  • Develop and implement governance oversight and KPI metrics to successfully complete data governance objectives
  • Review, monitor and validate master data
  • Partner in troubleshooting and resolving master data transactions, SLA impacts, or other operational challenges affected by master data issues
  • Develop, document & maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for Data Governance while promoting best practices
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and central "go-to" person to train business owners in master data creation/maintenance
  • Facilitate and participate in both project and day-to-day data cleansing activities
  • Maintain good communication with business partners regarding master data requests. Aggressively pursue all information required for the timely completion of work assignments
  • The incumbent must become Kruger’s in-house expert on any assigned customer’s forecasting process and related reports
  • Will be responsible for extracting data from multiple sources, manipulating data/data validation, and developing business/operational solutions/recommendations
  • Ability to perform data validation, analysis and modeling
  • Create and distribute high-level business performance reporting
  • Build cross-functional relationships to drive strategic discussions and continuous improvement
  • Translate complex data & analysis results into clear, engaging, and actionable reports or presentations
  • Automate reporting as needed
  • Special projects and other related duties as assigned
  • Develop a strong understanding of the data source and reporting systems and databases, and associated data relationships
  • Become the steward for assuring integrity & quality in the definition and production of analytics data
  • Maintain proactive and responsive communications with leadership and stakeholders
  • Develop sufficient documentation to allow team and processes to scale
  • The incumbent must also work diligently to maintain a solid rapport with all members of the customer’s supply chain team.  This includes, but is not limited to regular meetings or conference calls, annual reviews and future planning. 
  • He/she must also anticipate any other problems with product flow and must act rapidly and efficiently to communicate information and coordinate a solution between KPLP Customer Service, Logistics, and the customer’s supply chain group.  



  • Working knowledge of SAP and various related functions (SNP, APO)
  • Post-secondary degree from either a University or College
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the supply chain
  • Ability to make accurate decisions quickly
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong customer service sensibilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet often short deadlines
  • 2-3 years CPG or experience working for a retailer
