  • Analyze and assess the existing HR policy as well as the existing HR systems, solutions, and software.
  • Identify potential issues in the implementation of the Kruger Group’s new Human Resource Policy and the Kruger Group’s proprietary HR systems, solutions, and software.
  • Adapt to the American regulatory environment and implement the Kruger Group’s new Human Resource Policy to encourage better talent selection, training, and retention.
  • Customize, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize the Kruger Group’s proprietary HR systems, solutions, and software, including but not limited to, the proprietary network of Human Resources Management Systems, including EMPOWER and the integration of customized JDEdwards and ADP functionalities, as well as the Kruger Group’s Social Media Strategy and the Mentorship Program.
  • Train the HR team and all managers on the newly developed Kruger Group’s proprietary systems, solutions, and software, including but not limited to, the proprietary network of Human Resources Management Systems, including EMPOWER and the integration of customized JDEdwards and ADP functionalities, as well as the Kruger Group’s Social Media Strategy and the Mentorship Program.
  • Ensure the Human Resource team and all managers comply with the Kruger Group’s Human Resource standard and the Kruger Group’s proprietary systems, solutions, and software, including but not limited to, the proprietary network of Human Resources Management Systems, including EMPOWER and the integration of customized JDEdwards and ADP functionalities, as well as the Kruger Group’s Social Media Strategy and the Mentorship Program.
  • Provide HR support in functional HR areas using the Kruger Group’s proprietary systems, solutions, and software.
  • Manage the Kruger Group’s network of Human Resources Management Systems and act as key resource person.
  • Support policy development and updates, interpretation of collective agreements, and development of HR solutions.
  • Gather and analyze data using the Kruger Group’s proprietary systems, solutions, and software.
  • Prepare specialized reports to the HR senior management team.
  • Create partnerships with line supervisors and team leaders while promoting positive employee and labor relations with mill employees.
  • Serve as a source for legal and employment issues, ensuring compliance with federal and local employment laws.
  • Serve as HR Business Partner to the Converting Department providing Employee/Labor Relations to all employees and providing support to the management team.
  • Support hourly employment for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, or related field and 2 years of related experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 2 additional years of related experience will be accepted.
  • Must be eligible to obtain SHRM, CHRP, or equivalent HR certification within one year of hire.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency with EMPOWER and the integration of customized JDEdwards and ADP functionalities.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
  • 5% international travel to Canada is required.
