The incumbent will develop new business in the Retail Marketplace. The incumbent will target all segments of the retail marketplace not currently served by Kruger Products L.P. This can include developing partnerships and joint ventures with other CPG organizations and wholesalers to secure new distribution. This can include and not limited to: Independent Grocery Retailers, Pet Store, Card / Party Shops, Gas / Convenience Channel, Dollar Stores, DIY Outlets, specialty Cosmetic Retailers, etc..

  1. Responsible for expanding Kruger’s customer base.
  2. Responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities.
  3. Use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with.
  4. Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key business partner.
  5. Develop, negotiate and implement a detailed sales plan.
  6. Acquire new listings of priority skus and determine estimated sales and profitability.
  7. Utilize tracking reports each month and review to ensure that all sales targets are being met.
  8. Work to implement national marketing and sales strategies and present opportunities to the accounts.
  9. Review sales and market share performance to identify opportunities to maximize Kruger Products position
  10. Maintain Kruger’s position as the market leaders in category development.
  11. Develop and execute retailer specific promotions and merchandising.
  12. Focus on keeping customers in stock by working closely with our customer service, shipping and logistics teams.
  13. Manage account within financial budgets assigned.
  14. Monitor and report on all financial aspects related to managing the business with the accounts.
  15. Complete all required reports neatly and in a timely manner.



  • Must have 5 to 8 years of retail sales experience & strong background in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry specifically in sales & account management.
  • Proven business entrepreneurship development success on the establish trust and confidence with prospective customers
  • Having contact in the retail industry & brokers.
  • Post-secondary degree from either a University or College – Business & Marketing preferred.
  • Proficiency in a PC environment: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • High level of attention to detail, ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and accuracy working in a competitive business environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • The incumbent is required to have strong organizational, presentation, negotiation and sales skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Speak Multilinguals would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
