Job Requirements of Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely cash balance reporting and forecasting, ensuring adequate funding of bank accounts, and optimizing short-term liquidity to minimize interest expenses.
In this role, you will:
- Forecast interest rates to recommend length of debt rollovers
- Maintain and update restricted payment calculations and lender compliance reporting
- Assist with the payment process to meet bank cut-off times
- Investigate payment returns and rejections with key stakeholders
- Update and maintain foreign exchange rates
- Coordinate with external auditors, prepare external audit working papers and respond to all audit requests on a timely basis
- Complete forecasts and budgets for Treasury-related items
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- University degree in Business/Commerce
- Working towards CPA or CFA designations with 2-3 years of professional work experience
- Experience with manufacturing and CPG companies an asset
- Advanced skills in financial systems, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
