Job Requirements of Director, Finance:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Director, Finance US Consumer Business is responsible for the financial planning and analysis related to our US Consumer business unit. This includes managing the financial and management accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, performance reporting, cost management, and working capital management. As a key part of the US Consumer team, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Logistics, and Manufacturing Operations to improve overall financial performance.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Provide financial data to help advise and inform business decisions
- Review and maintain effective, accurate financial and accounting information systems
- Ensure the adequate internal control systems are in effect
- Partner with Sales & Marketing on building strategic plan, developing business analysis models, and review viable business strategies
- Support the Leadership team at our Memphis plant on manufacturing and supply chain projects; work closely with General Manager & Plant Controller
- Work with the Supply Chain & Logistics leaders on the Sales & Operating Planning Process and Integrated Business Planning
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- University degree in Business and Accounting
- 10-15 years overall business finance experience, several years of Manager experience and ideally with other cross-functional experience.
- CPA designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or MBA
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with a solid understanding of operations accounting and product costing and financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical background, business oriented, strategic thinking capabilities and attention to detail, while maintaining a "big picture" view
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally/presenting and in writing, with all levels of management and colleagues in all functional areas of the company
- High-level systems / IT/ process improvement proficiency. Strong working knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to challenge the status-quo, adept/creative at finding ways to incorporate financial and non-financial data to analyze business opportunities/decisions
- Strong ability to lead, challenge and positively influence in a team environment, including coaching and colleague development
