The main responsibility of the Freight Clerk is to work with our customers and transportation partners on the freight invoice approvals, reviews, and process. They will be part of our Supply Chain Customer Service team.

You will also:

  • Audit, verify & process manual freight invoices from carriers
  • Communicates with customer service and carriers to resolve complaints
  • Addresses payment inquiries from transportation partners and provides solution and next steps
  • Tracks and follow shipments or orders with carrier
  • Analyzes and maintains performance reports of transportation partners to ensure efficiency
  • Create and update shipping routes and transportation rates in the system


  • Must be bilingual in English and French
  • Tech-savvy and open to learning new technology
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and SAP
  • Basic accounting or finance skills (invoices, payments)
  • Industry experience in Consumer Packaged Goods is preferred
