 WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Customer Demand Planner is responsible for managing all aspects of product flow from our manufacturing and warehouse sites to the retailer’s store shelves.  The incumbent will work closely on all day to day activities with the retailer’s supply chain team to seek out opportunities for continuous improvement on all aspects of execution. 

You will also:

  • Become the expert on the customer's forecasting process and related reports
  • Be responsible for tracking orders in SAP and/or BW systems and address any major deviations in the demand and supply planning
  • Summarize the weekly forecast reports into a promotional calendar to be utilized for the customer
  • Work with Logistics and Customer Service for on-time shipment of goods
  • Maintain a standardized means of measuring weekly, periodic, and annual metrics such as fill rate, on-time delivery, upcoming promotions, etc.
  • Help the team anticipate any problems with product flow and review inventory and order patterns for the customer

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Post-secondary degree from either a University or College
  • Experience working with SAP
  • 2-3 years CPG or experience working for a retailer is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts
  • Ability to make accurate decisions quickly
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong customer service sensibilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet often short deadlines
